Larson and Paul Architects has a long relationship with the clothing retailer J. McLaughlin. The company’s 40+ stores located throughout the United States are individually designed with playful sensitivity to local design sensibilities. Each store is furnished with a selection of antiques, colorful carpet patterns, playful lighting fixtures, and decorative painting designed by Doug Larson himself.
Larson and Paul’s design services were critical in the development of the brand identity of J. McLaughlin. Beyond architectural, planning, interior design and decoration services, Larson and Paul assists J. McLaughlin with many visual elements of the company including displays, signage, graphic design, illustration, publicity, advertising and marketing.
